Godless Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Trailer, And News !

Godless is an American neo-western limited series on Netflix. A limited seriesis titled to a show when there’sa pre-determined number of episodes that tell a complete story. Godless gained prompt fame and was very much liked by the viewers,and now the fans want the series to be back. Though there arethe scope and many possible ways to extend the story, that completely depends on the makers whether they are going to renew it or not.

Godless Season 2 Is the Show Coming for Another Season

This has happened before with a few TV series, like Riverdale, 13 Reasons Why, and Big Little Lies, etc. that were intended to be limited series or mini series but later on popular demand, they were extended and turned into a long-running series.

Godless Season 2: What’s the Hope?

Right now, nothing can be said for sure. The series was created by Scott Frank,and he originally wanted Godless to be a movie. But as we all know, the script was changed into a limited serieswhich means it’s already an extended version of the original script. And until the makers announce the second season of the series themselves, it would be too soon to predict anything about the series.

Godless was nominated in Primetime Emmy Awards, 2018 in 12 different categories and won 3 of them. Jeff Daniels won the award for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie,’Merritt Wever won in the category of ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie,’ and the show got an award in one more category, ‘Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.’ The series was also nominated for several other awards.

This win and the appreciation from the fan might change the minds of the makers to think about extending the storyline of the series. But as every single person, be it the cast or the crew, related to the show is saying the same thing that Godless season two isn’t in the cards, we can only hope for the next season to happen.
