Disney’s own streaming service has been a center of the talk since last year. Till now we have been watching Disney’s movie on Netflix but in future, this may not be possible as Netflix contract with Disney will be over in 2019. And Disney is going to launch its own streaming service where you will be able to watch a lot of entertainment stuff.
After a statement of Disney’s CEO Bob Iger in 2017, we all were sure that Disney would build its ownstreaming services. Bob Iger had cleared the rumors about Disney’s own channel last year by saying that Marvel and Star Wars movies will move out of Netflix for good in 2019. And finally, the official name and logo for Disney’sown streaming channel have been confirmed.
Here is all that we know so far about Disney’s streaming services, Disney+.
Disney+ : Launch Date
Now, when its official that Disney’s movies will not appear on Netflix, we can’t wait for long to know about the launching date of Disney+. The official launch of Disney+ will be possible by the end of the year 2019 in the United States. It is expected that in the year 2020 the channel will expend all over the world.
Disney+ : Updates and Rumors
Disney hasn’t confirmed the fee that we have to pay for the subscription but has given us the hint that it’ll be less than its competitor, Netflix’s fee.
The biggest challenge for Disney will be to stay in the competition. Netflix and other digital platform are bringing new tales on board regularly. In this case, to give fierce competition to its rival and to attract more viewers, Disney+ needs to bring some new tale to its viewers.According to few reports,Disney is working on a few of its original series. If a rumor to be believed, then Disney is planning to telecast four to five original TV shows and films at its launch in 2019. Disney is planning to launch programmes for all age groups on Disney+.
Disney will also include the content from its own brands like Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and National Geographic. So, we can expect that Disney+ is going to be a content-rich digital platform. Apart from this, according to Disney’s CEO Bob Iger, Disney is also planning to have original documentaries that’ll be based on behind the scenes.
Before you start to think about one more addition to your monthly expenses, let me tell you the movies that you can watch on Disney+. After the launch of Disney+, you can watch a number of movies on your mobile screen, like Star Wars: Clone Wars, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, Monsters Inc to name a few.
Now, when the planning of Disney’s streaming channel has been out from the Disney’s volt, we are looking forward to watching all the Marvel and Star Wars movies along with some old and all-time favorite animated movies.
