Chicago Med is currently in its winter hiatus and will not have new episodes until 2023. The show recently added T.V. Carpio as a new character, Dr. Grace Song, who is brought into the hospital by Jack Dayton, who recently gained a controlling interest in the hospital.
Showrunners Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider have also hinted at the possibility of bringing back Roland Buck III as Noah Sexton, a former character on the show who left in season 6 to pursue residency in Atlanta.
Noah made a brief appearance in the fall finale and is currently working in Chicago. It is not confirmed whether he will return for the second half of season 8, but the showrunners are “talking about” it.
