Ariana Grande Sells Montecito, California, Home for $9.1 Million

Ariana Grande, a popular singer, recently said “Thank you, next” to a home in Montecito, California.

According to recently registered records on PropertyShark, the 29-year-old singer, best known for her hits like “Into You,” “No Tears Left To Cry,” and “Bang Bang,” as well as for serving as a coach on “The Voice,” sold the historic English Tudor-style house for $9.1 million in an off-market deal at the end of August.

Just like Ms. Grande did two years ago when she paid $6.75 million to buy it from TV show Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi, the buyer used a trust to finalise the sale.

Ms. Grande, who wed her husband, real estate agent Dalton Gomez, on the property in May 2021, made around $2.35 million from the transaction.

The mansion, which occupies 1.35 acres, was built from two 300-year-old barns that were moved to California in the 1980s from Surrey, England. A single home with two bedrooms and three baths housed them all.

The house still has case windows, beamed ceilings, and fireplaces, but it now has a sleek new laundry room, snack bar, study, and an open-concept modern kitchen that is accessible from the dining and living rooms.

Attempts to reach Ms. Grande’s representatives for comment were not immediately returned. Ms. Grande is currently filming “Wicked” in London, where she is portraying Glinda the Good Witch.
